31@ Junot CentrePutting back in our community is one of our goals at the 31@ Junot Centre.

In both 2009 and 2010, we brought professional wrestler Lanny "The Genius" Poffo to Thunder Bay. Lanny's goal is talking to young people and making a positive difference in their lives. Lanny spoke to kids at the Thunder Bay Boys and Girl's Club and at Woodcrest School sharing his enthusiasm and message that smoking and drugs are just not cool.

Whenever there is a chance to have someone share a positive message with the young people in Thunder Bay, we take that advantage!

As well working with the Global Conscience Circle and their many related groups, our Computer Centre offers Internet access to youth in the area.

There are often times that special people stop by. On September 21, 2009, Michael “The CANADIAN REBEL” Majalahti a Wrestling Superstar from Europe to share a positive positive message with them.

Michael's message was "Don't be a dead fish, and float downstream with the current". Michael shared "Be yourself, and be true to yourself!"

The Canadian Rebel Stops by the 31@ JunotFor us, the idea that business should put back into our neighborhood and city is important. It is something that we believe should be a responsibility for locally owned businesses, and larger companies too.

There are many local political leaders, musicians, and videographers who have found the 31@ Junot a fun place to stop by for a coffee or soft drink.

You never know who might be here!

Many of our efforts are also supported by other like-minded people in our Thunder Bay.
